GATEWAY CONTINUES USE OF PC-DOCTOR DIAGNOSTIC SOFTWARE IN ITS SERVICE CENTERS

Common Diagnostics Platform Helps PC Giant in Servicing Personal Computers
RENO, Nev. (April, 19, 2005) -- PC-Doctor, Inc. (www.pc-doctor.com), the leading global developer of hardware diagnostic and system information tools, today announced a new contract with Gateway, Inc. that continues the computer manufacturers use of PC-Doctor software at Gateways service centers.

Under the new license agreement, Gateway will use PC-Doctor Factory for Windows and DOS software to test remanufactured and refurbished computers, as well as test field service parts before they leave the service center. The agreement covers Gateways service provider partners. Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.

PC-Doctor Factory for Windows and DOS is an extension of the companys modular core technology that provides common diagnostics throughout the PC life-cycle from product development, to manufacturing, to service and support. Used in factory and service center settings, the software reduces out-of-box failures and no-trouble-found warranty returns.

Like other major manufacturers of PC-based systems, Gateway understands that PC-Doctor diagnostics software can contribute greatly to reduced costs and improved quality, said Aki Korhonen, president and chief technology officer of PC-Doctor.
