Position: Senior Account Director
Department: Sales and Support
Status: Full-time, exempt
Salary: Base to $120k, plus variable (DOE)
Location: Reno, Nevada

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and execute sales management plans and strategies that align with company business plans, analyses and budgets, in conjunction with upper management
  • Develop business, manage relationships, and grow revenue and profits through direct sales to new and existing customers
  • Oversee sales and support, including: coordinating sales and support functions, tracking and reporting sales efforts, driving consistently high levels of customer satisfaction and support
  • Centralize communication and direction for sales, supervise and oversee customer relationships and support
  • Direct and monitor deliverables between PCD and the customer, including: contractual deliverables, technical support, time-critical services, customer visits, and information exchanges
  • Maintain knowledge of company plans and product road maps
  • Project customer needs, forecast sales volumes, and identify opportunities, adding value to the customer and increasing sales
  • Other responsibilities as required by business needs

Requirements

Degree in technical, business or related studies, plus --
Professional experience and proven track record in strategic selling in a high tech industry (in any combination as follows):
- BS/BA degree plus at least five years of experience as indicated above, or
- AS/AA degree plus at least seven years of experience as indicated above, or
- Minimum of eight years of experience as indicated above

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful track record in selling and building relationships (software sales required)
  • Previous OEM experience
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and software requirements
  • Technical industry knowledge, and ability to remain current with developments in hardware, firmware, operating systems, and technologies
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and manage complex sales engagements
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others in a dynamic environment
  • Must reside in (or relocate to) the Reno, NV area
  • Approximate travel requirement: 20-30% or more, based on business need
