Purpose
The purpose of this document is to outline the tabs within PC-Doctor Service Center which server as menus for each component within the software.
Description
Below is a screenshot of the available tabs within PC-Doctor Service Center.
Each of the tabs or menus are described in detail below:
Home – The ‘Home’ tab provides quick access to five predefined diagnostic tests, direct access to ‘My Top Links’ and a summary of System Information.
Diagnostics and Tools - The ‘Diagnostics and Tools’ tab is the primary access to running ad hoc diagnostics and accessing any relevant systems tools. For additional information on utilizing this tab please see How To Use The Diagnostics And Tools Tab within Service Center.
Script Editor – The ‘Script Editor’ tab is used to create and run test scripts. This tab is not used for ad hoc testing. For additional information on utilizing this tab please see Script Editor.
System Information – The ‘System Information’ tab provides comprehensive information about the PC hardware configuration and Windows events including operating system crashes (BSOD), application crashes, and device manager issues. Reports – The ‘Reports’ tab provides the ability to save and print system information, test information, and snapshot comparisons. This tab also includes the ability to create a custom header for use with the reports. For additional information on this tab please see Reports.
My Links – The ‘My Links’ tab provides links to local applications, test scripts, and resources on the Internet. You can add, edit, or delete links at any time. For additional information on this tab please see My Links.
