PC-Doctor CTO Ken Sheppard and developers Dr. Fred Bertsch and Suresh Kumar recently spent two days as judges for the world's largest pre-college science competition — the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair 2009, a program of the Society for Science & the Public. Young scientists from around the world traveled to PC-Doctor's hometown of Reno, Nevada to compete for nearly $4 million in scholarships. Ken and Fred judged computer science projects while Suresh judged mathematics projects.
As described by Ken Sheppard: "The judges came from industry and academia and they were universally dedicated and earnest. The caliber of the students was amazing, and they inspired me with their passion and genius."
