Mac keyboard and touchpad do not function when booting Service Center

Description

We have been made aware that on some Mac laptops manufactured between 2016 and 2017 the touchpad and keyboard are unresponsive after booting into Service Center Bootable Diagnostics. This is related to current Apple proprietary driver issues.

Workaround

If this issue is experienced, connecting an external keyboard and mouse will allow for running system diagnostics. However, this will prevent testing of the onboard touchpad and keyboard from Service Center Bootable Diagnostics.
