Issue

Closing the Toolbox interface during a scan causes the application to freeze or lock up.

Problem

There is a known bug affecting how Toolbox closes down processes when the user interface is closed.

Resolution

  1. Open Windows Task Manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC)
  2. Select the "More details" option at the bottom
  3. Right click the PC-Doctor Toolbox process under the "Processes" tab
  4. Choose "End task"

You can now safely relaunch Toolbox.

This is a known bug we are currently working to resolve with a future update to Toolbox.
